FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
How many listings can I expect to handle? It is common for our agents to carry 15-20 listings.
Do I have to hold open houses? No, our program includes the Seller hosted open house, but You can always choose to hold some to get leads.
Do agents pay MLS fees & Board dues? Yes, each agent is responsible for their own. Board dues are paid the beginning of each year, MLS fee is paid directly to Mid Florida Regoinal MLS in July
Do I pay Errors & Omissions Insurance? The company provides the policy for all agents. The agent will be charged $50 per transaction on Buyer sales. We do not charge on the listings.
What if I earn an agent bonus for selling a home? All commissions and bonus must be paid to the broker and are split between broker and agent based on the standard company commission agreement.
Common Misconceptions Within The Realtor Community
Assist 2 Sell is a by owner company. We are not by owner, we offer the same (if not BETTER) service as a “traditional” real estate company. We are full service, which means we show the house, advertise, take the calls, handle the negotiations, set up inspections, and attend the closing. All at a substantial savings to the Seller.
Assist 2 Sell does not pay co-op agents who sell their homes. We offer a MINIMUM 3% to all co-op agents on all homes listed in MLS.
Other agents do not show Assist 2 Sell listings. Certainly not true, several of our listings have been sold by outside agents through the multiple listing service. We even have agents that keep an eye on our web site, when a property of interest comes available (that’s not in MLS) they can still show it and submit offers. All the agent needs to do is write in what they would like for compensation, it’s the sellers decision what they are willing to pay, most of the time we get the buyers agent their FULL asking compensation !!
When a co-op agent sells an Assist 2 Sell listing they have to do all the negotiating and work. Each full service listing at Assist 2 Sell is assigned to a full time realtor who is used to handling a high volume of work. Assist 2 Sell agents are highly trained and are champion negotiators. They average 3 to 4 times more closed transactions per year than a traditional agent. They have a higher level of experience which makes the transaction move smoother.
Assist 2 Sell is ruining the real estate industry and driving commissions down. This is simply not true. We have a creative niche in the market. Those who call us have a strong desire to save money and they are better educated today about how to find a company that will offer this savings.
